37. tataḥ astram vāruṇam samyak yojayāmāsa kauravaḥ
tena aśvān ca caturaḥ amṛdnāt śālvarājñaḥ narādhipa

37. Then Bhishma, the Kuru warrior, properly invoked the Vāruṇa weapon (the water missile). By it, O king of men, he crushed the four horses of King Salva.
