महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-96, verse-10

प्रमत्तामुपयान्त्यन्ये स्वयमन्ये च विन्दते ।
अष्टमं तमथो वित्त विवाहं कविभिः स्मृतम् ॥१०॥
10. pramattāmupayāntyanye svayamanye ca vindate ,
aṣṭamaṁ tamatho vitta vivāhaṁ kavibhiḥ smṛtam.
10. pramattām upayānti anye svayam anye ca vindate
aṣṭamam tam atho vitta vivāham kavibhiḥ smṛtam
10. Some obtain a girl who is carried away by passion, while others procure her for themselves. Understand that this is declared by the wise as the eighth type of marriage.
