महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-89, verse-40

भरताध्युषितं पूर्वं सोऽध्यतिष्ठत्पुरोत्तमम् ।
पुनर्बलिभृतश्चैव चक्रे सर्वमहीक्षितः ॥४०॥
40. bharatādhyuṣitaṁ pūrvaṁ so'dhyatiṣṭhatpurottamam ,
punarbalibhṛtaścaiva cakre sarvamahīkṣitaḥ.
40. bharatādhyuṣitam pūrvam saḥ adhyatiṣṭhat purottamam
punar balibhṛtaḥ ca eva cakre sarvamahīkṣitaḥ
40. He then dwelt in that best of cities, formerly inhabited by Bharata. And he certainly made all other kings pay tribute again.
