महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-89, verse-35

सिन्धोर्नदस्य महतो निकुञ्जे न्यवसत्तदा ।
नदीविषयपर्यन्ते पर्वतस्य समीपतः ।
तत्रावसन्बहून्कालान्भारता दुर्गमाश्रिताः ॥३५॥
35. sindhornadasya mahato nikuñje nyavasattadā ,
nadīviṣayaparyante parvatasya samīpataḥ ,
tatrāvasanbahūnkālānbhāratā durgamāśritāḥ.
35. sindhoḥ nadasya mahataḥ nikuñje
nyavasat tadā nadīviṣayaparyante
पर्वतस्य samīpataḥ tatra avasan
bahūn kālān bhāratāḥ durgam āśritāḥ
35. Then, he (King Saṃvaraṇa) resided in a secluded spot near the great Sindhu river, on the border of the river's territory and close to a mountain. There, the Bharatas, having taken refuge in a difficult fort, lived for many years.
