महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-89, verse-18

ततो महद्भिः क्रतुभिरीजानो भरतस्तदा ।
लेभे पुत्रं भरद्वाजाद्भुमन्युं नाम भारत ॥१८॥
18. tato mahadbhiḥ kratubhirījāno bharatastadā ,
lebhe putraṁ bharadvājādbhumanyuṁ nāma bhārata.
18. tataḥ mahadbhiḥ kratubhiḥ ijānaḥ bharataḥ tadā
lebhe putram bharadvājāt bhumanyum nāma bhārata
18. Thereafter, Bharata, having performed great yagyas at that time, obtained a son named Bhumanyu from Bharadvaja, O Bharata (descendant of Bharata).
