महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-158, verse-48

ततो भागीकृतो देवैर्वज्रभाग उपास्यते ।
लोके यत्साधनं किंचित्सा वै वज्रतनुः स्मृता ॥४८॥
48. tato bhāgīkṛto devairvajrabhāga upāsyate ,
loke yatsādhanaṁ kiṁcitsā vai vajratanuḥ smṛtā.
48. tataḥ bhāgīkṛtaḥ devaiḥ vajrabhāgaḥ upāsyate
loke yat sādhanam kiṃcit sā vai vajratanuḥ smṛtā
48. Therefore, having been portioned by the gods, a part of the thunderbolt (vajra) is worshipped. Whatever instrument exists in the world, that indeed is considered to have the essence of the thunderbolt (vajra).
