महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-158, verse-29

विरथं विप्लुतं तं तु स गन्धर्वं महाबलम् ।
अस्त्रतेजःप्रमूढं च प्रपतन्तमवाङ्मुखम् ॥२९॥
29. virathaṁ viplutaṁ taṁ tu sa gandharvaṁ mahābalam ,
astratejaḥpramūḍhaṁ ca prapatantamavāṅmukham.
29. viratham viplutam tam tu saḥ gandharvam mahābalam
astratejaḥpramūḍham ca prapatantam avāṅmukham
29. That mighty Gandharva, however, deprived of his chariot, disoriented and bewildered by the weapon's power, fell downwards, face first.
