योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-140, verse-49

स्मृतवानात्मवृत्तान्तं यस्याहमुदरे स्थितः ।
तं विराडपमाशङ्क्य तस्मान्निर्गन्तुमुद्यतः ॥ ४९ ॥
smṛtavānātmavṛttāntaṃ yasyāhamudare sthitaḥ ,
taṃ virāḍapamāśaṅkya tasmānnirgantumudyataḥ 49
49. smṛtavān ātmavṛttāntam yasya aham udare sthitaḥ
tam virāṭ apamā āśaṅkya tasmāt nirgantum udyataḥ
49. aham yasya udare sthitaḥ tam ātmavṛttāntam smṛtavān
tam virāṭ apamā āśaṅkya tasmāt nirgantum udyataḥ
49. I remembered my own story (ātman-vṛttānta), (the story of him) in whose belly I was situated. Considering that (belly) to be the unparalleled (apamā) Cosmic Person (Virāṭ), I prepared to exit from it.
