योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-140, verse-18

अथैकार्णवखातोऽसावभवच्छुष्ककोटरः ।
क्वचिद्गलितसह्याद्रि क्वचित्संशीकमन्दरः ॥ १८ ॥
athaikārṇavakhāto'sāvabhavacchuṣkakoṭaraḥ ,
kvacidgalitasahyādri kvacitsaṃśīkamandaraḥ 18
18. atha ekārṇavakhātaḥ asau abhavat śuṣkakoṭaraḥ
kvacit galitasahyādri kvacit saṃśīkamandaraḥ
18. atha asau ekārṇavakhātaḥ śuṣkakoṭaraḥ abhavat.
kvacit galitasahyādri (ca abhavat),

18. Then, this excavated bed of the cosmic ocean (ekārṇava) became a dry hollow. In some parts, it contained the disintegrated Sahya mountain, and in other parts, the decayed Mandara mountain.
