योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-140, verse-2

मुनिरुवाच ।
कल्पान्तेषु विनश्यन्ति नाशैर्नानाविधात्मभिः ।
जगन्ति भ्रान्तिरूपाणि नभस्याभासरूपिभिः ॥ २ ॥

kalpānteṣu vinaśyanti nāśairnānāvidhātmabhiḥ ,
jaganti bhrāntirūpāṇi nabhasyābhāsarūpibhiḥ 2

jaganti bhrāntirūpāṇi nabhasī ābhāsarūpibhiḥ

nānāvidhātmbhiḥ nāśaiḥ nabhasī ābhāsarūpibhiḥ vinaśyanti
2. The sage said: At the ends of the cosmic cycles (kalpa), the worlds, which are inherently illusory, completely perish through various kinds of destructions, much like mere appearances in the sky.
