लीलोवाच ।
एवमेतज्जगन्मातर्मया स्मृतमिहाधुना ।
ममेदं राजसं जन्म न तमो न च सात्त्विकम् ॥ ३४ ॥

Līlā said: "O Mother, this world (jagat) has been understood by me thus, here and now. This existence (janma) of mine is of the nature of rajas, neither of tamas nor of sattva."
