मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-76, verse-35

अतो ब्रवीमि संसारे वसतः को न बान्धवः ।
को वापि सततं बन्धुः किं वो विभ्राम्यते मतिः ॥३५॥
35. ato bravīmi saṃsāre vasataḥ ko na bāndhavaḥ .
ko vāpi satataṃ bandhuḥ kiṃ vo vibhrāmyate matiḥ.
35. ataḥ bravīmi saṃsāre vasataḥ kaḥ na bāndhavaḥ kaḥ
vā api satatam bandhuḥ kim vaḥ vibhrāmyate matiḥ
35. Therefore I say: For one living in the cycle of existence (saṃsāra), who is not a relative? And who is always a relative? Why, then, is your mind (mati) bewildered?
