स्वार्थाय स्निग्धहृदया यथैवैते ममोपरि ।
प्रवृत्ते स्वार्थमास्थाय तथैव प्रतिभासि मे ॥१०॥

10. svārthāya snigdhahṛdayā yathaivaite mamopari .

svārthāya snigdhahṛdayā yathā eva ete mama upari

Just as these two [cats], with affectionate hearts, are devoted to their own interests concerning me, and act solely for their own benefit, so too do you appear to me.
