किन्तु मदुपभोगाय मार्जारी जातहारिणी ।
त्वन्तु क्रमेणोपभोग्यं मत्तः फलमभीप्ससि ॥११॥

But the cat, the stealer of offspring (jātahāriṇī), is for my immediate use/enjoyment. You, however, desire a result from me that is to be enjoyed gradually.
