मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-20, verse-8

कस्यचित्त्वथ कालस्य नागलोकान्महीतलम् ।
कुमारावागतौ नागौ पुत्रावश्वतरस्य तु ॥८॥
8. kasyacittvatha kālasya nāgalokānmahītalam .
kumārāvāgatau nāgau putrāvaśvatarasya tu.
8. kasya-cit tu atha kālasya nāgalokāt mahītalam
kumārau āgatau nāgau putrau aśvatarasya tu
8. Then, after some time, two young Nāgas (nāga), who were the sons of Aśvatara, arrived on the surface of the earth from the Nāga world (nāgaloka).
