मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-20, verse-35

पितोवाच ।
पथापि श्रोतुमिच्छामि तस्य यद् कार्यमुत्तमम् ।
असाध्यमथवा साध्यं किं वासाध्यं विपश्चिताम् ॥३५॥
35. pitovāca .
pathāpi śrotumicchāmi tasya yad kāryamuttamam .
asādhyamathavā sādhyaṃ kiṃ vāsādhyaṃ vipaścitām.
35. pitaḥ uvāca pathā api śrotum icchāmi tasya yat kāryam
uttamam asādhyam athavā sādhyam kim vā asādhyam vipaścitām
35. The father said: Even so, I wish to hear about his excellent deed. For the wise, what is impossible, or what is achievable, or what is truly unattainable?
