शास्त्रशीले समं मन्ये पुत्रौ धन्यतरन्तु तम् ॥२४॥

Some are learned in scriptures but lack good conduct; others are fools but possess good conduct. I consider two sons to be equally (excellent) in terms of both scriptural knowledge and character, but indeed, that (son who combines both) is even more blessed.
