महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-32, verse-48

गदिनं कोऽद्य मां पाप जेतुमुत्सहते रिपुः ।
न्यायतो युध्यमानस्य देवेष्वपि पुरंदरः ॥४८॥
48. gadinaṁ ko'dya māṁ pāpa jetumutsahate ripuḥ ,
nyāyato yudhyamānasya deveṣvapi puraṁdaraḥ.
48. gadinam kaḥ adya mām pāpa jetum utsahate ripuḥ
nyāyataḥ yudhyamānasya deveṣu api purandaraḥ
48. pāpa adya mām gadinam jetum kaḥ ripuḥ utsahate
nyāyataḥ yudhyamānasya deveṣu api purandaraḥ
48. O wicked one, what enemy today dares to conquer me, who wield a mace? Not even Purandara [Indra] among the gods dares to, if I fight justly.
