महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-44, verse-16

शिखण्डी च ततः कर्णं विचरन्तमभीतवत् ।
भीष्महन्ता महाराज वारयामास पत्रिभिः ॥१६॥
16. śikhaṇḍī ca tataḥ karṇaṁ vicarantamabhītavat ,
bhīṣmahantā mahārāja vārayāmāsa patribhiḥ.
