महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-23, verse-34

याजनाध्यापनैर्विप्रा विशुद्धैश्च प्रतिग्रहैः ।
लोकस्यानुग्रहार्थाय स्थापिता ब्रह्मणा भुवि ॥३४॥
34. yājanādhyāpanairviprā viśuddhaiśca pratigrahaiḥ ,
lokasyānugrahārthāya sthāpitā brahmaṇā bhuvi.
34. yājanādhyāpanaiḥ viprāḥ viśuddhaiḥ ca pratigrahaiḥ
lokasya anugrahārthāya sthāpitāḥ brahmaṇā bhuvi
34. brahmaṇā viprāḥ lokasya anugrahārthāya,
yājanādhyāpanaiḥ ca viśuddhaiḥ pratigrahaiḥ (karmaṇā),
