महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-91, verse-7

ततस्तं विरथं कृत्वा सात्यकिः सत्यविक्रमः ।
सेनामस्यार्दयामास शरैः संनतपर्वभिः ॥७॥
7. tatastaṁ virathaṁ kṛtvā sātyakiḥ satyavikramaḥ ,
senāmasyārdayāmāsa śaraiḥ saṁnataparvabhiḥ.
7. tataḥ tam viratham kṛtvā sātyakiḥ satyavikramaḥ
senām asya ardayām āsa śaraiḥ sannataparvabhiḥ
7. tataḥ satyavikramaḥ sātyakiḥ tam viratham kṛtvā asya senām sannataparvabhiḥ śaraiḥ ardayām āsa.
7. Then, Satyaki, whose valor (vikrama) was true, having rendered him chariot-less, harassed his (opponent's) army with arrows that had well-bent joints (i.e., were well-crafted).
