स त्वं पश्य महेष्वासं योगीष्वर महारथम् ।
यो भीष्मं शमयेत्संख्ये दावाग्निं जलदो यथा ॥२३॥

You, O master of yoga (yogīśvara), behold that great archer (maheṣvāsa) and mighty warrior (mahāratha) who can pacify Bhishma in battle, just as a cloud (jalada) extinguishes a forest fire (dāvāgni).
