महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-46, verse-13

मत्कृते भ्रातृसौहार्दाद्राज्याद्भ्रष्टास्तथा सुखात् ।
जीवितं बहु मन्येऽहं जीवितं ह्यद्य दुर्लभम् ॥१३॥
13. matkṛte bhrātṛsauhārdādrājyādbhraṣṭāstathā sukhāt ,
jīvitaṁ bahu manye'haṁ jīvitaṁ hyadya durlabham.

13. Because of me, due to their brotherly affection, they have fallen from their kingdom and happiness. I value my life greatly, for indeed, life (jīvitaṃ) is now difficult to preserve.
