महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-46, verse-11

यथानलं प्रज्वलितं पतंगाः समभिद्रुताः ।
विनाशायैव गच्छन्ति तथा मे सैनिको जनः ॥११॥
11. yathānalaṁ prajvalitaṁ pataṁgāḥ samabhidrutāḥ ,
vināśāyaiva gacchanti tathā me sainiko janaḥ.

11. Just as moths, rushing towards a blazing fire, go only to their destruction, similarly, my soldiers are heading towards their end.
