महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-107, verse-29

तस्य माद्रीसुतश्चापं द्विधा चिच्छेद सायकैः ।
अथैनं छिन्नधन्वानं विव्याध नवभिः शरैः ॥२९॥
29. tasya mādrīsutaścāpaṁ dvidhā ciccheda sāyakaiḥ ,
athainaṁ chinnadhanvānaṁ vivyādha navabhiḥ śaraiḥ.

29. And the son of Mādrī (Sahadeva) cut his (Kṛpa's) bow into two parts with his arrows. Then, he pierced him, whose bow was broken, with nine arrows.
