महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-127, verse-45

निगृह्य सुहृदां मन्युं शाधि राज्यं यथोचितम् ।
स्वमंशं पाण्डुपुत्रेभ्यः प्रदाय भरतर्षभ ॥४५॥
45. nigṛhya suhṛdāṁ manyuṁ śādhi rājyaṁ yathocitam ,
svamaṁśaṁ pāṇḍuputrebhyaḥ pradāya bharatarṣabha.

svam aṃśam pāṇḍuputrebhyaḥ pradāya bharatarṣabha

45. O best of the Bharatas, restrain the indignation of your well-wishers and, having given their own share to the sons of Pāṇḍu, govern your kingdom as is proper.
