महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-127, verse-38

सुहृदामर्थकामानां यो न तिष्ठति शासने ।
प्राज्ञानां कृतविद्यानां स नरः शत्रुनन्दनः ॥३८॥
38. suhṛdāmarthakāmānāṁ yo na tiṣṭhati śāsane ,
prājñānāṁ kṛtavidyānāṁ sa naraḥ śatrunandanaḥ.

38. He who does not abide by the instruction of his well-wishers, who desire his prosperity, and of those who are wise and accomplished in knowledge — that man brings joy to his enemies.
