महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-127, verse-32

कामं क्रोधं च लोभं च दम्भं दर्पं च भूमिपः ।
सम्यग्विजेतुं यो वेद स महीमभिजायते ॥३२॥
32. kāmaṁ krodhaṁ ca lobhaṁ ca dambhaṁ darpaṁ ca bhūmipaḥ ,
samyagvijetuṁ yo veda sa mahīmabhijāyate.
32. kāmam krodham ca lobham ca dambham darpam ca bhūmipaḥ
samyak vijetum yaḥ veda saḥ mahīm abhijāyate
32. bhūmipaḥ yaḥ kāmam krodham ca lobham ca dambham darpam ca samyak vijetum veda,
saḥ mahīm abhijāyate
32. That king who knows how to properly conquer desire, anger, greed, hypocrisy, and pride, he attains dominion over the earth.
