महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-30, verse-50

दीयतां दीयतामेषां भुज्यतां भुज्यतामिति ।
एवंप्रकाराः संजल्पाः श्रूयन्ते स्मात्र नित्यशः ॥५०॥
50. dīyatāṁ dīyatāmeṣāṁ bhujyatāṁ bhujyatāmiti ,
evaṁprakārāḥ saṁjalpāḥ śrūyante smātra nityaśaḥ.
50. dīyatām dīyatām eṣām bhujyatām bhujyatām iti
evaṃprakārāḥ saṃjalpāḥ śrūyante sma atra nityaśaḥ
50. "Let it be given! Let it be given to them! Let it be eaten! Let it be eaten!" — such exclamations were constantly heard here.
