महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-30, verse-10

अथैवं ब्रुवतामेव तेषामभ्याययौ हरिः ।
ऋषिः पुराणो वेदात्मा दृश्यश्चापि विजानताम् ॥१०॥
10. athaivaṁ bruvatāmeva teṣāmabhyāyayau hariḥ ,
ṛṣiḥ purāṇo vedātmā dṛśyaścāpi vijānatām.
10. atha evam bruvatām eva teṣām abhyāyayau hariḥ
ṛṣiḥ purāṇaḥ vedātmā dṛśyaḥ ca api vijānatām
10. Then, as they were speaking thus, Hari approached them. He is the ancient sage (ṛṣi), the very essence of the Vedas, and is indeed visible to those who possess true knowledge.
