महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-57, verse-49

ते धूमरक्तनयना वह्नितेजोभितापिताः ।
आजग्मुर्निश्चयं ज्ञातुं भार्गवस्यातितेजसः ॥४९॥
49. te dhūmaraktanayanā vahnitejobhitāpitāḥ ,
ājagmurniścayaṁ jñātuṁ bhārgavasyātitejasaḥ.

ājagmuḥ niścayam jñātum bhārgavasya atitejasas

49. With their eyes reddened by smoke and scorched by the intense heat of the fire, they came to ascertain the resolve of the supremely powerful Bhārgava.
