महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-57, verse-22

ऐरावतकुलोत्पन्नः शीघ्रो भूत्वा तदा स वै ।
विदश्यास्येन वल्मीकं विवेशाथ स कुण्डले ॥२२॥
22. airāvatakulotpannaḥ śīghro bhūtvā tadā sa vai ,
vidaśyāsyena valmīkaṁ viveśātha sa kuṇḍale.

vidaśya āsyena valmīkam viveśa atha saḥ kuṇḍale
22. tadā airāvata-kula-utpannaḥ saḥ śīghraḥ bhūtvā vai

22. That snake, born in the lineage of Airāvata, then swiftly, indeed, tore open an anthill with its mouth. Then it entered (the anthill) with those two earrings.
