महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-70, verse-14

कुर्वन्भवच्छासनमाशु यातो ह्यहं विशालां रुचिरप्रभावाम् ।
वैवस्वतीं प्राप्य सभामपश्यं सहस्रशो योजनहैमभौमाम् ॥१४॥
14. kurvanbhavacchāsanamāśu yāto; hyahaṁ viśālāṁ ruciraprabhāvām ,
vaivasvatīṁ prāpya sabhāmapaśyaṁ; sahasraśo yojanahaimabhaumām.
14. kurvan bhavat śāsanam āśu yātaḥ hi
aham viśālām rucira-prabhāvām |
vaivasvatīm prāpya sabhām apaśyam
sahasraśaḥ yojana-haima-bhaumāām
14. Indeed, quickly carrying out your command, I went and, having reached the vast and splendidly magnificent assembly hall of Vaivasvata (Yama), I saw it to be golden-surfaced for thousands of yojanas.
