ततोऽस्मान्सुपरिश्रान्तांस्तपसा चापि कर्शितान् ।
उवाच खस्थं किमपि भूतं तत्राशरीरकम् ॥४६॥

46. tato'smānsupariśrāntāṁstapasā cāpi karśitān ,
uvāca khasthaṁ kimapi bhūtaṁ tatrāśarīrakam.

46. Then, some bodiless being, situated in the sky there, spoke to us, who were extremely exhausted and emaciated by our ascetic practices (tapas).
