नमस्तेऽस्तु हृषीकेश महापुरुषपूर्वज ।
इति शब्दः श्रुतोऽस्माभिः शिक्षाक्षरसमीरितः ॥४०॥

40. namaste'stu hṛṣīkeśa mahāpuruṣapūrvaja ,
iti śabdaḥ śruto'smābhiḥ śikṣākṣarasamīritaḥ.

iti śabdaḥ śrutaḥ asmābhiḥ śikṣākṣarasamīritaḥ

40. May there be salutations to you, O Hṛṣīkeśa, O progenitor of the great cosmic person (puruṣa)! This sound was heard by us, pronounced with well-taught syllables.
