महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-323, verse-11

प्रीतस्ततोऽस्य भगवान्देवदेवः पुरातनः ।
साक्षात्तं दर्शयामास सोऽदृश्योऽन्येन केनचित् ॥११॥

11. Then, the venerable (bhagavān) and ancient God of gods, pleased with him, revealed himself directly to him, though he (the God) was invisible to anyone else.
