महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-318, verse-4

व्याधितस्य विवित्साभिस्त्रस्यतो जीवितैषिणः ।
अवशस्य विनाशाय शरीरमपकृष्यते ॥४॥
4. vyādhitasya vivitsābhistrasyato jīvitaiṣiṇaḥ ,
avaśasya vināśāya śarīramapakṛṣyate.

avaśasya vināśāya śarīram apakṛṣyate

4. The body of the sick, fearful, and helpless person, even though longing for life, is ultimately dragged towards its destruction by these very life-seeking urges.
