स्रवन्ति ह्युदराद्गर्भा जायमानास्तथापरे ।
आगमेन सहान्येषां विनाश उपपद्यते ॥२६॥

26. sravanti hyudarādgarbhā jāyamānāstathāpare ,
āgamena sahānyeṣāṁ vināśa upapadyate.

26. Indeed, some embryos are aborted from the womb, and others are born. Similarly, the destruction of still others occurs alongside the formation of new ones.
