महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-318, verse-34

घोरानपि दुराधर्षान्नृपतीनुग्रतेजसः ।
आक्रम्य रोग आदत्ते पशून्पशुपचो यथा ॥३४॥
34. ghorānapi durādharṣānnṛpatīnugratejasaḥ ,
ākramya roga ādatte paśūnpaśupaco yathā.

34. Disease attacks even dreadful and unconquerable kings of fierce might, and carries them off, just as a butcher takes away animals.
