महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-316, verse-17

अदर्शनमसंस्पर्शस्तथासंभाषणं सदा ।
यस्य भूतैः सह मुने स श्रेयो विन्दते परम् ॥१७॥
17. adarśanamasaṁsparśastathāsaṁbhāṣaṇaṁ sadā ,
yasya bhūtaiḥ saha mune sa śreyo vindate param.

17. O sage, he who always maintains non-seeing, non-contact, and non-conversation with other beings, that person attains the supreme welfare.
