महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-263, verse-27

भीष्म उवाच ।
ततस्तदेव बहुशः कुण्डधारो महायशाः ।
अभ्यासमकरोद्धर्मे ततस्तुष्टास्य देवताः ॥२७॥
27. bhīṣma uvāca ,
tatastadeva bahuśaḥ kuṇḍadhāro mahāyaśāḥ ,
abhyāsamakaroddharme tatastuṣṭāsya devatāḥ.

27. Bhīṣma said: "Then, that highly renowned Kuṇḍadhāra repeatedly engaged in the practice of natural law (dharma). Consequently, his deities became pleased."
