महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-217, verse-3

दृष्ट्वा सुकृपणां चेमामवस्थामात्मनो बले ।
ज्ञातिमित्रपरित्यक्तः शोचस्याहो न शोचसि ॥३॥
3. dṛṣṭvā sukṛpaṇāṁ cemāmavasthāmātmano bale ,
jñātimitraparityaktaḥ śocasyāho na śocasi.

jñāti-mitra-parityaktaḥ śocasi aho na śocasi

3. Having seen this extremely pitiable condition of your own being (ātman), despite your [former] might, abandoned by kinsmen and friends, do you lament, alas, or do you not lament?
