महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-126, verse-26

अपृच्छंश्चैव ते तत्र राजानमपराजितम् ।
प्रयोजनमिदं सर्वमाश्रमस्य प्रवेशनम् ॥२६॥
26. apṛcchaṁścaiva te tatra rājānamaparājitam ,
prayojanamidaṁ sarvamāśramasya praveśanam.

prayojanam idam sarvam āśramasya praveśanam
26. ca eva te tatra aparājitam rājānam āśramasya
praveśanam idam sarvam prayojanam apṛcchan
26. And there they indeed asked the unconquered king about the entire purpose of his entry into the hermitage (āśrama).
