महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-126, verse-10

दृष्ट्वाहं तं कृशं विप्रं भीतः परमदुर्मनाः ।
पादौ तस्याभिवाद्याथ स्थितः प्राञ्जलिरग्रतः ॥१०॥
10. dṛṣṭvāhaṁ taṁ kṛśaṁ vipraṁ bhītaḥ paramadurmanāḥ ,
pādau tasyābhivādyātha sthitaḥ prāñjaliragrataḥ.
10. dṛṣṭvā aham tam kṛśam vipram bhītaḥ paramadurmanāḥ
pādau tasya abhivādya atha sthitaḥ prāñjaliḥ agrataḥ
10. Having seen that emaciated Brahmin (vipra), I was frightened and extremely distressed. Then, having saluted his feet, I stood before him with folded hands.
