उच्चावदाता विपुला हिमवद्भूमयोऽपि ताः ।
नीताः शौक्ल्यरुषेवाशु रुधिरेणात्मपङ्कताम् ॥ ४६ ॥

nītāḥ śauklyaruṣevāśu rudhireṇātmapaṅkatām 46

46. Even those vast, high, and uneven Himalayan lands were swiftly brought to a state of self-defilement with blood, as if by the very wrath of purity.
