योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-32, verse-39

ब्राह्ममण्डमिवाखण्डं लोकेशाः पालयन्ति तम् ।
अप्यापदि दुरन्तायां नैव गन्तव्यमक्रमे ॥ ३९ ॥
brāhmamaṇḍamivākhaṇḍaṃ lokeśāḥ pālayanti tam ,
apyāpadi durantāyāṃ naiva gantavyamakrame 39
39. brāhmamaṇḍam iva akhaṇḍam lokeśāḥ pālayanti tam
api āpadi durantāyām na eva gantavyam akrame
39. lokeśāḥ akhaṇḍam brāhmamaṇḍam iva tam pālayanti
durantāyām āpadi api akrame na eva gantavyam
39. The lords of the worlds protect it as if it were an unbroken cosmic sphere (brāhmamaṇḍa). Even in a terrible calamity, one should certainly not resort to impropriety (akrama).
