योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-23, verse-21

शब्दरूपरसस्पर्शगन्धबन्धुश्रियो यतः ।
अनयैव हि लभ्यन्ते तेनेयं ज्ञस्य लाभदा ॥ २१ ॥
śabdarūparasasparśagandhabandhuśriyo yataḥ ,
anayaiva hi labhyante teneyaṃ jñasya lābhadā 21

anayā eva hi labhyante tena iyam jñasya lābhadā

21. Because indeed it is through this (intellect/mind) that sound, form, taste, touch, and smell, along with friends and prosperity, are obtained, therefore, this (intellect) is the giver of gain to the wise person.
