योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-29, verse-46

तमस्तिमितगम्भीरमाशाकुहरपूरकम् ।
एकार्णवोदरप्रख्यं शिलोदरघनं स्थितम् ॥ ४६ ॥

46. The darkness (tamas) was vast and profound, filling the hollows of all directions. It resembled the interior of the primeval ocean (eka-arṇava) and was dense like the inside of a rock, thus it remained.
