योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-29, verse-14

नीत्यर्थं गृहभृत्यानामादीनकृतवाच्यता ।
मर्यादानियमादब्धेर्वेलेवानिशमच्युता ॥ १४ ॥
nītyarthaṃ gṛhabhṛtyānāmādīnakṛtavācyatā ,
maryādāniyamādabdhervelevāniśamacyutā 14
14. nītyartham gṛhabhṛtyānām ādīnakṛtavācyatā |
maryādāniyamāt abdheḥ velā iva aniśam acyutā ||
14. (sā) nītyartham gṛhabhṛtyānām ādīnakṛtavācyatā

14. For the sake of proper conduct, she made the speech of her household servants humble and respectful, remaining constantly unwavering, just like the shore of the ocean due to its adherence to boundaries.
