सर्वे प्रजापतिसमाः प्रजावन्तस्तथैव च ।

8. All of them were like the progenitors (Prajāpatis), and similarly, they had numerous descendants. All of them had conquered the realm of Brahmā through their spiritual austerities (tapas) and were expounders of the sacred texts (brahman).
